Nature’s Education Laboratory of American Samoa Inc. (NELAS) provides innovative, place-based educational programs that connect students to the environment, culture, and community through its Focus on Learning for All approach. Using hands-on, inquiry-driven methods, NELAS integrates science with traditional Samoan knowledge to promote environmental stewardship, self-development, cultural pride, and lifelong learning. Students engage in experiential learning in both classroom and outdoor settings.
