Educational Program for K-12 Students

Focus on Learning for All (FOLA) is an outdoor education program for K-12 students, based on STEAM. The goal of FOLA is to offer children a wonderful outdoor experience that will give them an appreciation for the land and sea of American Samoa. This program will contribute to a lifetime of healthy outdoor activities and foster wise stewardship of the environment and the Samoan culture.

Program Description

The FOLA programs will all begin with an introduction to the subject matter. It will then be followed by activities that are hands-on, interactive, and inquiry based. Students will rotate through learning stations about plants, wildlife, habitat and Samoan culture. All activities will include a field trip.
